Green Bile (Conjugated Bilirubin) is relatively nontoxic. From the liver, this is passed on to the gall bladder for storage and concentration, and is excreted during the digestion of food.
Causes for the death of Red Blood Cells:
1. After the normal life span of R.B.C’s- Normal
2. During excessive haemolosis, if a person also suffer from sluggishness of the liver (owing to reasons mentioned in (2) above, there is consiradable damage to the liver cells), a part of Unconjugated Bilirubin that comes to the liver, without getting converted to Green Bile, seeps back into the blood circulation and starts interfering in the metabolism of the body tissues.
This condition is called as ‘pittadosha’ in our ancestral system of medicine. The symptoms of this are termed as Gilbert’s Syndrome in Allopathy.
Symptoms:
when Unconjugated Bilirubin enter the blood circulation, since the efficiency of the blood and of different glands and organs in the body is reduces. People experience symptoms like weakness in the limbs, burnings sensation in the eyes-ears-head etc., sleeplessness, lassitude, anorexia, nervous weakness, headaches and low back pain of long duration, etc.
When these increase, we suffer from too much heat in the body, which consequently leads to Jaundice. In medical terminology, this is known as Uncojugated Hyperbilirubinaemia: Symptoms of excessive heat in the body as Sub-Clinical-Jaundice; and extreme cases are known as Haemolytic Jaundice. Along with Hyperbilirubinaemia, if the liver cells are affected by bacterial or viral infections, the result will be Infective Hepatitis.
During haemolytic Jaundice, infective or viral hepatitis and obstructive jaundice there will be mixed Hyperbilirubinaemia; I.e., Uncojugated as well as Conjugated Bilirubin will be mixed in the circulating blood.
Except for infection, there is no chemotherapeutic treatment for these symptoms. Since chemotherapeutic agents increase the work of the liver (and being hepatotoxic), in conditions of jaundice, if they are used, they will deteriorate the conditions.

Who is more susceptible for these problems?
People: With a heaty constitution; In countries with hot climates, working in rubber-tyre-plastic-cement-petroleum, and other chemical factories; with excessive physical strain and mental stress; with high ambitions and heavy responsibility; living under polluted atmosphere/water/air/food conditions; With extensive travel associated with irregular food and sleep habits; With regular or heavy consumption of alcohol and nicotine- get these symptoms quite regularly.
